Has anyone ever heard of "Mysterons" by "Portishead" ?

I want to recreate a similar eerie sound to the one they used in their song.
I heard they used an Electro Theremin synthesizer to create it.

But I would appreciate it if anyone might be able to save me some time from looking through the enormous amounts of Refills and Wav. samples I have.

I'm currently using Reason 4.0

Any help regarding the device I should use &/or the set up would greatly be appreciated.

Here is a Theremin-esq patch that i've just knocked up in reason

It sounds a little like the one in the song

Its a combinator patch.
I've set-up a few controls on the combinator so you can edit to taste.

Let me know what you think of it.

I downloaded quite a few of the Refills and combinatar patches off Peff.com before.
I must have overlooked that one. Dammit.

Thanx for the link to your Thermin combi patch Ghost.

I'll try it out the morrow when It's not so late And I can use my speaker system instead of these shitty headphones.

I'll give you some feedback when I've tried it. Smile
