Please check out my new track 'Hard Hell' and post your comments here!!!

Another track i recently composed
I experimented with trying to make a track that sounds like a mix between hardcore and dnb and this track was the result
I took some hardcore synth sounds and used them to construct a melody, then overlapped it with a nu skool sounding beat and a modified reece bass
I am aware of some mistakes such as some people not liking too many high end hats and also the intro may have too much high end on the drums to be played on headphones as it may hurt SOME peoples ears if played too loud, however, the effect of it sounding like it was being played on a small radio WAS the intended effect
If there are any other issues i would apreciate a mention of the problem
Thanks and enjoy!

Yeah not bad, but I'm not much of a hardcore fan tbh so this is not really my bag I'm afraid. But I can appreciate the work that has gone into the tune and you've welded two different styles together pretty well. Sound wise, I think this tune suffers from similar problems to your previous ones - namely, lack of clarity, especially the low range stuff. It kinda sounds a bit flat too, the kick doesn't have enough oophm.

But good effort nevertheless.

Btw, be sure to follow the one tune per week rule! Happy

INtro sounds are oke, filtered beat is nice. butttt dont like the synth too much in the beginning its too much high. Jeah def too much high. Production is very good, you can hear that. Good kicks, so just that highs are really to much and to less middle sounds.Lov ehow you make transitions between part, well done
Imo, haha post it agin without all that highs

cross genre stuff here, I'm always into the idea. beat is ok, although im not a big fan of the melody that you've constructed using the hardcore samples.

i was thinking if u wanted to get more of a hardcore feel, could look for some vocals and pitch em up give the tune a lil more life?
