havin a real hard time workin summin out got a usb samsonc01u mic.
it works fine in wavelab and windows sound recorder but not in cubase
almost bangin me head against a wall

any help greatly appreciated

you need to select it as a new master ASIO driver

go to

Devices>Device setup> Master ASIO driver

Select the mic and you should get a signal

it does mean though that you cant play the rest of your project back at the same time as using the mic

Take this with a pinch of salt as I'm working from memory of reading the same issue in CM magazine

surely it tells you in the manual?
if you dont have the manual go to the website of the manufacturer and get it from there
