so, i find i do better tracks late at night, and i mean, i am past the point of "i should have went to sleep at 3 am... and to be honest it's my most creative and my favorite songs. to be honest it's way to late and i am in a dark room, without the lights on, which as i found helps bring you deeper into sleep.

BETA WAVES - 14Hz to 20Hz. Beta waves are associated with normal waking consciousness. They are present when you are focused on activities in the outside world.
ALPHA WAVES - 8Hz to 13Hz. Alpha waves are likened to a light meditation. They are prevalent when you daydream. They will become stronger when your eyes are closed.
THETA WAVES - 4Hz to 7Hz. Theta waves occur during heightened states of creativity and are found with a deep meditative state.
DELTA WAVES - .5Hz to 3Hz. Delta waves are found in a deep sleep state or unconsciousness. Also, Delta waves are common in very deep meditation.
so the more tired you are the deeper you are in the more creative you become, to the point where you will interpet any input as your own. this does take an enormous amount of creativity.
so, beta is your normal focused wave, alpha is when your a bit absentminded, theta is when you fall asleep at the wheel. theta is what i was acheiving, i guess, theta. which is fun and all, and any lower and i'd be a hypnotized zombie.
i just looked into this after hearing about a bunch of robberies due to hypnosis!

You might have oscillated between theta and beta waves. I know that I did some alteration of my brain frequency when I needed concentration or total distraction off the world. I used BWGen, it helps in bringing your brain to the desired mental state by using difference of soundwaves that you hear on headphones. Not effective while you make music, but maybe a bit before that time.
I even made a song with some synth oscillations that should have brought people to sleep when listening to it, but never released (many people told me that I might go to jail if I do release it 
).

you can't goto jail for releaseing music! you can do the same brain wave thing by playing 2 notes on a guitar.
it's very interestign, but dnb does this all the time we take 2 ntoes distort and make it a song, most of my tracks i find i like the varying bea to be very low also. around 7hz which is itneresting, it's the same as the waves i get in to get tot hat mode. very interesting.

When I tested that BWG I thought it was an instant samplepack for DnB
Maybe that's why I love DnB so much, I am really sensitive to this kind of manipulation. Works wonders on my mood and activity level.

i have a dvd on sound for heeling with jonathan goldman...
beta is a normal aggitated state, (getting things done, talking on a phone etc)
alpha is more meditative, and so on...

i finished my exams and have now entered the 7 weeks of Endstage (working at a company in order of school to show your competenses + write a thesis,synopsis and present it at the end)
again busy times
, no more hardcore producing and playing live ... brrr
only + side is that its becoming summer here (finaly) and that i can do what i want after i graduate
