hi , i`m looking to get a whole new set up , so i dont get any more complications with my prodution , i`m getting a new computer , witch i wont need help with , but i need to know how to find the right amp and speakers , so i can have the right balance , if anyone has a good setup , or that knows anything about this , it would be very helpful , as i am starting to get very anoyed by getting things wrong in my work , and im sure its because of my setup i have now !!!!!! if anyone can help me , it would be much appreciated , and i havent got a big buget , but i desperatly need to get this right , thanks in advance for any suggestions Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue !!!!!!!

instead of buying an amp and speakers buy some active monitors (speakers with amps in)

how much money you got to spend?

about £300 , the thing is i need a new amp anyway , how do the active speakers work ?? how do they differ "sound quality wise" ?????

well as the speakers already have the amps in you connect directly from the outputs of your soundcard and into the speakers. and hay presto, you got sound. no need for an amp.

and the amps inside the speakkers are tailor made for the them so they quite often sound alot better than the passive (non-amp'd) versions.

£200 quid could get you a pair of these:

they have ribbon tweaters so the top end should be really sweet and clear.
also alot of reviews i read on them say they are great for the money.

and you'll £100 left over for whatever Drink Spliff
