The most stupid track I like must be Survivor - Burning Heart, it's pure pulp, but it gives me power when I'm out for a run.

ha ha drone , your just showing u`r age man , i love alot of simply red stuff too , soulful , good cover shit !!!!! im 32 , before the the rave scene , it was hip hop/breakdance , as u may well know , witch was very new , cool and different in the 80's , but all that was still quite underground at the time , most of the time we had all the mainstream shit , witch wasent all bad , so we were always going to have tunes that we liked , that we would not rather say that we did , and alot of the time the people that u would say it to , would most probably say that they dident like it just to look "cool" , but i like what i like !!!!!! i cant stand pop now , most of the music nowa days is just crap , it has no feeling and its all geared towards kids , cause thats where the moneys at !!!!! pop and the music in the charts does not seem to be grown up anymore , alot of the old music was serious and had good qualitys , i cant really think of any tune thats in the charts now that i really like , but in the 80's and 90's there was loads of good music , stuff i`lled buy !!!!!!! anyway , im abit embarrissed to get out my copy of "saturday night fever" , but some wicked tunes on there , i`ve always loved disco , but i get a bit embarrised and tend not to play it as loud as i would most music i play , so people wont hear it and think that im not as cool , lol !!!!!!!!
p.s , i`ve just found a new love 4 pat benatar's tune , "love is a battlefield" , not really into that old rock shit , but its a very powerfull tune and i cant seem to get outta my head at the mo , and if u hear the drums , they sound quite drum and bassie !!!!!!!!!!!

Note that this is the original 1968 version, not the much more popular, i.e., much more heard cover by Juice Newton in 1981.
I'm actually not rly embarrassed by this, as I think the original is quite a good piece of songwriting and well performed. But, it sort of fit the context of this post.

This morning I heard "Matia Bazar's" track "Ti Sento" once more and thought it should be in this thread
I still love it, it is an early (1985) DnB influence for me, very pompous, kick-snare structure, strong vocals and a fat chorus. Still love it.
