 Fruity Loops Or?? |

hey all i am not to sure in what direction to go in...
i have been using ableton to sequence my stuff... rewired with reason and record any auido directly but i have been in 2 minds.
would fruity loops be a better option? is it fairly easy to use etc.
can you rewire with reason using fruity loops?
i have heard that fruity loops has better effect and stuff like that... any help would be appreciated

Download the demo version of FL and try it, it has a very "own" approach, so it might not feel right for you.

The name thing is a disaster indeed...
Sounds like something that kids throw in their milk in the morning.
The company making FL is called "Image-Line", another boring and inspiration-free name. I like FL though.

I used to use Fruity Loops. It was the first sequencer I used. I ended up going over to Reason, basically because I paid for reason and it gave me more determination to learn it.
Yesterday, I had a go on FL8. It is so quick to get a tune together with. The sound is good, depending on your samples obviously... I have tried Cubase and various other programs, but Fruity I think is the most user friendly. As mentioned above, the name lets it down.
I have just tried doing a remix using FL8 and Reason rewired. They work well together. Just need to make some banging tunes now

why do people need to rewire with a second sequencer? is it worth the effort?

fruity loops is only good for making or creating loops... the rewire application sucks, but for loop creation its great... then import and resequence those loops in either acid, logic, cubase, and i suppose you could do it with ableton im not sure...

I do everything in FL Studio (except, ok, orchestral instruments and stuff for which I use VSTs) and I think I don't sound bad at all.

ive used fl studio ever since
nothing else
simple and very easy to use
yeah it depends on ur samples and vst's to sound great
