This is the first track i've uploaded to this sight so be gentle. I made it on fl studio 6, trying to incorperate trance and drum n bass. Some of the levels need a bit of tweeking but the body of the song is complete. Hope you enjoy.

Yep you are right about that the levels need work.
The cymbals are too loud compared to the rest of the drums. They also sound very synthetic, try some other samples, preferable ones that are not pitched up and are longer.
Lead sound coming in at 0:13 is too loud compared to the backing track.
For a first track it is surprisingly good, the melodies work well together, the saw bass is gorgeous and the pads sit well in the background.
Drum programming is good but a bit of variation in the samples wouldn't hurt. To do snare rolls etc try using different samples taken from the same kit to bring some more life in it.

bass it is too loud, a lot of shock varies, and as a result of them it is not audible. bass all poglashchaet. It is necessary to work further.

Drums sound a bit weak, you pitched them up pretty high so the kick doesn't have impact anymore. Not my style of tune, but for a first tune it's not bad at all. Most instruments sound like presets, try to make your own instruments or at least give a twist to some presets you like to get a more original sound. Melody work and structure are not bad at all. Cymbals are too loud and some cymbals don't glue with the other drums you used (cut off at the the end). Your drums are drowning in the synths, work the levels.

Yeah is very trancey, certainly a bit too much so for my taste, but works ok.
the mix isnt great and is very focused on the synths and the beats seem pretty lost, the snare is pretty high pitched and comes across quite weak and im strugglin to hear any definition to the kick
some interesting half time beat edits at 2:55
synth melodies are pretty good (v. trancy again)

You can find sounds that work together man, good tempo in song, to stressful. should get more into deep mood, my opionion.

Hay man. Cheers for the good feed back. I used to be well into mettle music and that got me playing guitar drums bass and keyboard. You into your mettle as well? I don't know much about leveling but i'll get on it. Will also try to fatten up my beats. Bong!!

the problem is this, too many snare hits int eh start, everything sound better after the start. hell you could even keep a bar or two of the orignal starting beat with the 50 snare hits, but if you then changed it to the 2 snare hits that every otehr song does it wouldn't sound as synthetic.
use tones of hi hats instead,that's what every dnb song is.
