Hello everyone. I've been toying around with synths for quite a while and I've always been inclined to drum n bass but I have no knowledge of how to work hard basses and have no drum kits and few samples from dnb. I have a few good ideas but I need some help delivering. Anyway, this is one of my tracks. If anyone can help me I'll be very grateful.
Happy easter

I really like this. The vibe, melodies and vocals are brilliant, imo. The amen is a bit blatant for me tho and the way you've layered it isn't punching through enough. I've heard much, much worst tho!
If this was my track I would think about replacing the layered drum hits with fatter, bigger sounding ones.
Love the bassline and although it basically repeats itself throughout the track, it doesn't get boring for me. However, it would probably benefit from some extra clarity and also a bit of squelchy distortion ocassionally would sound good. Check out Philbee's work on this website, he usually does this technique very well.
Btw, why not do some reviews and apply for producers rights? You will then be able to upload your tunes here and you'll deffo get a better response.
What software are you using?

Hey tomos thank you for your review!
I'm not sure how to apply for producer rights because this is my first day on the site.
I was browsing through the website last night and found some interesting info that i'm definitely going to be trying out.
I definitely want to improve both my composing and producing so you'll be seeing me around a lot from now on heh.
I'm using FL6 with a lot of vstis:
ReFx Nexus, NI-FM8, z3ta+, Absynth, Reaktor and I recently downloaded Massive because I read it was a good bass synth.
PS: Your tunes are sick, great work man!
