All massive,
It was about time we caught up with you with news about the follow-up to our Ruffskool launch end of last year, so here you go.
Again set in the number one underground venue in Antwerp, the Scheld'apen, we invite you to join us for more Jungle & Rave madness!
 
This time around we have invited DJ PRESSURE, the infamous Irishman residing in Amsterdam and Rotterdam for the past decade. He has been voted best drum'n'bass DJ in the Netherlands and many of you will know him as an Oldskool King with a special talent for smoothly blending the most classy tunes. Asked for his speciality: "Strings and Amens!"
Also as a guest is Brussels based DJ RHUMBLE. On the wheels of steel since 1994 he emphasizes what Ruffskool is about. Rhumble has always been very passionate about his music and this reflects in the events he promotes (Belgian Therapy Sessions, Nuite Blanche and Mashup Business) as well as the way he rocks a crowd when behind the decks. Expect a unique mix of jungle with a big rave touch, back to the early nineties!
Our residents keeping everything together: Belgium's jungle pioneer DAGO, Antwerp's rave maestro STEKKER, the visual monster duo TEKNAR & BLUB VIDEO, and yours truly HAVOC & KARBONKID.
Also, as it proved to be a nice pre-party happening, we are again starting the evening off with a record fair. Last time many people snatched up some really good bargains, so it is well worth checking out.

Hi folks,
Ruffskool II is coming closer, time to tell you some more about the record fair...
Just like last time we asked a few known and lesser known DJ's from Belgium to have a look into their crates to sell at Ruffskool.
We got a lot of good responses, even more than last time, so we invite you all to come and check it out!
The place to be that night if you wanna get your hands on some really hard to find stuff or just that anthem from back in the days!
We'll make sure there are 2 turntables in the lounge of Scheld'apen to check your records you want to buy or trade.
Feel free to bring some records of your own to sell or trade, ofcourse!
We start at 19h and we go on untill the party kicks off...
It proved to be a cosy get-together pre-party so come and join us for some record diggin or a just a drink!
Try to get a hand on bits from their collection.... Dice, Sike, Cal, Riot and Woodcarver to name a few.
Who remembers good old Woody? He told me he'll be there with about +500 records so expect quality stuff in there (drum & bass, jungle, breaks...)
Also Dice, Sike and Cal will bring crates full of Drum & Bass with stuff from the nineties untill now!
See you 19th of april!

It seems it's going to be full house again next saturday at Scheld'apen.
Please make sure you come early because we have limited capacity and remember we already start at 19h with the record fair! Pass by and have a drink and snatch some bargains!
Beware the deviation too:
Eigen vervoer:
Ring Antwerpen, afslag Centrum/Schelde/Hoboken
Volg Singel/Hoboken (rechts afslaan) richting Noord tot de eerste lichten, vervolgens rechtsaf
Bij de tweede lichten rechtsaf de Generaal Armstrongweg in
Aan het einde linksaf (d’Herbouvillekaai), even verderop aan uw linkerkant ligt Scheld’apen.
OPGELET: Vanaf de Kaaien...
De d'Herbouvillekaai die naar de Scheld’apen leidt is afgesloten voor automobilisten wegens wegenwerken (Ledeganckkaai). Zij dienen via de Generaal Armstrongweg te rijden. Op de Singel ter hoogte van Station Antwerpen-Zuid de Kolonel Silvertopstraat inrijden (viaduct over de Ring), dan bij de stoplichten rechtsaf de Generaal Armstrongweg in. Aan het eind linksaf (d’Herbouvillekaai), even verderop aan uw linkerkant ligt Scheld’apen. Voor voetgangers en fietsers verandert er niets.
Met het openbaar vervoer:
* Vanaf Antwerpen Centraal station:
1) Tram lijn 12 (Kon. Astridplein) tot Bolivarplaats
Wandelen richting Schelde, linksaf, ongeveer 1 km. tot Mexiconatie/Generaal Armstrongweg
2) Bus lijn 23 (Kon. Astridplein) tot Waalse Kaai
Wandelen richting Schelde, linksaf, ongeveer 1 km. tot Mexiconatie/Generaal Armstrongweg
* Vanaf Antwerpen Berchem station:
Tram lijn 8 tot Bolivarplaats
Wandelen richting Schelde, linksaf, ongeveer 1 km. tot Mexiconatie/Generaal Armstrongweg
* Vanaf Antwerpen Zuid station:
Ring over (viaduct), bij de tweede lichten rechtsaf de Generaal Armstrongweg in
Ongeveer 15 minuten wandelen tot het kruispunt Gen. Armstrongweg-d'Herbouvillekaai. Ga linksaf (d’Herbouvillekaai), even verderop aan uw linkerkant ligt Scheld’apen.
