Some instruments sound really like pure presets. Track is not very original, there are tons of tracks that feature a scary movie. Better do something more creative with vocals (like Limewax and co).
I'm no big fan of the melodic stuff going on, it sounds like Pendulum gone dark, but that's just personal taste.

I'm more enthusiastic about this than Battle. I really like this. The sound quality is excellent and the melodies are strong. But yeah, some of the synths are quite pre-setty. The vocal sample idea has obviously been done hundreds of times and it kind of spoilt it for me cos they don't tell you a story, they sound like they're there just to shit you up a bit. I'd love to hear this tune with just musical elements. Apart from that, I love this tune. Would love to hear more from you. Big Grin

I agree with bd on the pendulum gone dark comment,
im def feeling the drums though, you could twist the vocals up, make em sound a little more menacing then they already are imo
overall production sounds good
I am also excited to hear what else you got up your sleevesBig Grin

peace

used to do scarry intros like that all the time..i like it and cant see what to change...wiked quality ...great drumbs that come in very crisp.but to be honest i thought it was was the start of the hugest build up i ever heard ...but the drop never came , souinds like there could be so much more to the track , like the main of it sounds like a crazy wiked build up,but then it keeps going , great guality dont get me wrong , put together great u definitly know what your doing but its not my stlye i would think u should have a better drop ..like the second drop is better maybe make that the main drop just beefed up a lil more with those drums as a build up Smile

lol, sure i recognise some of the samples in the intro, those hits sound familiar, love the intro, real atmospheric and builds up the tension well,
synth line is a little cheesy imo, gets a bit repititve after a while, so do the drums, snare could use a little more snap, maybe layer up another snare hit or two, atmos are good, liking them, lol im using that saw sample in a tune im working on at the mo, textbook stuff thats been done before but still works imo. sub bass is pretty deep but could maybe be a little louder? 2:58 breakdown is quite nice, gives the track a different edge. not bad overall but gets a but repititve after a while.

Love the dark style of this tune. The speratic beat really gives a sinester feel to the hole thing. The production of the melody and the film samples sound pretty much spot on. A personal prefference, that is really more of a difference of styles, would be that I would pick up the beat through the midle of the tune to something more regular to give the listener something really gritty to get stuck into. The continuous style of the tune, I think lends itself to the drum n bass rave sceme. Ausome, is the work I would use to describe it!
