Sorry bud, this doesn't do it for me. I kinda get where you're comin from with the heavy bassline madness but the melodies are lacking evilness and direction, imo. Also, they are pretty muddy around the lows and mid-lows. The basslines towards the end of the track are definitely better. Much stronger.
Didn't get the jazzy bit. It's pretty good on it's own but it deffo sounds like two tunes pasted together. They are not styles that gel well together in one tune, imo.
Beats sound good - good solid kick and snare.
Shame, I usually love all your stuff man. But you can't like em all I guess.

haha! yeh im feeling ya thomos, not one id expect to score highly on, was kind of a concept track written to a visual script for a short film. Not your conventional drum n bass number for the dance floor. thanks for your thoughts dude, hopefully i can get time to write more again soon, been soooooo busy.

Catchy intro , i like it alot.dark sounding .makes the hair on your neck stand up..simple but good , like alotta ppl say and what seems to work alot KISS ( keep it simple stupid) ...good intro ,but when it kicks , i think the drumbs need to be more full..more rollin high bigger snare , changed up a lil here and therejust think it needs more in the bassline , u do throw in a good sound. sounds like a saw synth or something , if u put that sound in the whole bassline i think it would give it more life and sound more full .otherwize its well done and u know how to put a tune together.
