i just got reason 4 and when i start the program it give an error...(MEDIA PROBLEM).....(the problem cant be completed because of media related problem)..... i tried the update from reason web site and same problem......so can someone tell me what can i do to solve this problem...... Roll Eyes

i did that like six times.......i even try changing my windows cause i had vista basic so i changed it to . xp black , no good , xp3 , no good , xp2 , no good ,even vista ultimate.....no good...

yeah , im no expert , but vistas is shit , i think it could be some sort of driver or soundcard problem , i would see a profesional about it , "why cant computers be simple and easy to use "Crying Crying Crying ???? i got that shit with acid pro 6 , it was about the drivers , if you just have a standard computer that is not made 4 making music , u`ll have to get the right sound card , plugins and drivers , my mate got a new computer with vista , and nothing seemed to load in , like programs and vst `s , "MID BOGALIN" Huh Huh Huh !!!!!! when u get a computer , "MAKE SURE , IT IS DESIGNED 4 WHAT U WANT" , or u`ll have no end of problems !!!!!!!!!

Agreed, vista sucks ass atm

However, I've been running Reason 4 on vista for a few months now and have to say its given me no problem at all and has been extremely stable

So probably no vista that 's the problem

mate not sure what else to suggest.

the sound banks could be corrupting as they install Confused

if its deffo not the computer or the OS i'd look at getting another copy of reason

you mind me asking where you got your copy from?

Thanks for the help guys but i fixed the problem......i reinstall reason 3 then update it then install reason 4 and that fixed the problem.......
