Please check out my new track 'Exhibition of Life' and post your comments here!!!

One of my late night projects....came home after work and got some inspiration...and started composing...You might recognize some samples...I used ones I got from this site...This is the closest to mainstream DnB I have done for now...My friend didn't believe that I made it at first...he thought some kick ass pro made it...well a second opinion is always good...so tell me what you think...Tough the sound quality you hear may not be the same as what I hear from my original.

This is nice also, but the mix is a bit all over the place.

The panning is a bit too extreme for me and the reverb is a bit much on some of the bass sounds. (try eqing the ow end out of the reverb)

also that warpy sample that first appears at 1:16 sounds a bit outta place

the tune sounds like its fighting itself cuz at the same time you are playing nice pads and heavy dark bass sounds. i think more contrast between sections would work better

i noticed you uploaded FOUR tunes in one day....

the rough rule is, one track per week. therefore i felt the need to delete
a couple of them.
i still left you the two that had been reviewed and deleted the ones without.
please dont try to re-upload them, at least not for a good few days anyway.

thank you Happy

Wow, love the intro, really gets you gripped, nice use of breaks and bass here..
this track really flows, love the build up!
Love the bassline, really smooth bro, what I like to hear. Smile

I love that screaming synth fx you got in there!!

Cons? drum programming could be a tad better, some parts it's like a breakdowm constantly, but maybe that's just your style and me being a bit picky =P

Apart from that, nice work! Big Grin

Yeah, totally agree with Ghosty. Definitely some good sections there - the jazzy rhode melodies, the bass stabs, the snare sound - but the mix has too much reverb. Too many things have reverb on them. A tune like this needs a balance between reverb and drier sounds, I reckon. The rhodes are especially guilty of having too much reverb. Also, I think that harsh high pitched synth doesn't really fit.

Decent tune tho - enjoyed. Happy

Ha ha, know what you mean about the sample! Wink

It's not a bad tune, but it seems a bit all over the place to me. The structure is a bit messy, actually, it doesn't seem to flow really.

A few interesting idea though...

Not bad, like a lot of the elements in this tune, remind me of lots of things, old metalheadz. Agree with and don't have much to add to the other reviews above, especially on the tune structure.

Enjoyable tune tho...

Since everybody is complaining about the structure I'm going to re do it...and upload that...but you got to know that this is my first ever DnB track...I started making DnB tracks since February this year...

So after a lot of criticizing about the mix buildup and flow I remade it and will post the remix on Monday so have a go at it and tell me is it better now... Tongue

WOW. I am totally digging the goodness of this track. Where can I score it for my iPod? Very full, carries you along with it, sweet sounds and surprises throughout, you did it right.
