this has potential...... kick sounds too light and too distorted imo
layer a deeper kick and take the distortion down
beats sound a little grainy....... only word i can think of to describe
bass samples sound heavy but need a slight eq
work it.....

the drums seem low quality.....maybe thats the distortion fx or something.the half time thing is a good idea but the hats in between the snr and kick seem like they are still going reg time.nice wobble....the drop has a good kick to it ,again though the kick and snr sound muffled.im not really to big on wobble but this isnt a bad song at all.the break is ok but its the same thing as the the beginning .find away to add new things in that second break to keep the listener insterested. like amybe some epic vocal phrase or some big new sample that hasnt been played yet.and a nother half time break would be cool before dropping back in the second time,if got a track on my myspace that has some half time stuff before the 1st and 2nd drop if you want to listen to it.well mang keep working it bro its coming along nicely

Yeah not bad but the mix sounds a bit messy and muddy to me. There is some funny panning going on with one of your kicks. Also, there is too much distortion across the whole tune, imo, which personally I would reduce. Melodies are pretty good. Good ideas with the bass sounds too. If only there was some better EQing this would be much, much better.

this deserves a better rating, i played it early and really enjoyed it
what is going on with the rating!
top tunes marked as shit!
theres loads of top tunes that have low ratings on here its a bit unfair aint it!

No disrespect to producers but jump up seems to get better ratings, and more techier sides people dont give a waffle, end of the day im not bigging myself up or owt, just give people a fair chance.
Anyway I enjoy the comments i've received here... next time I'll have to reduce the distortion i've put on my kick/snare, I put it through Skream on Reason 4 just to test it for the first time, few more times I should get it better ... it is mainly though because I put a full REX loop in, and just added distortion, whereas if I did it all seperatly I think the quality might of been better, I'll check it out, nice one for the tips geezers

i agree with this!
wouldnt say that the tunes that have been getting bad ratings have been top notch but the ratings have been a bit poorer than they deserve..........
new rating system is a must imo on here cos this is a top site and the people on here know what there on about!
more structured breakdown of reviews is badly needed!
chron and all of the mods please take note!
