Yeah but even if you think drugs are basically a bad thing, four years for some personal weed is still insane. If it was a stack of heroin, it'd be totally different cos that shit can and does kill so police should take that from people for their own good. But weed? C'mon.

its about natural drugs , like your daily cup of coffee or tea or cola or sigarette or beer or whatever
that doesnt affect damage to the body and mind when u dont abuse it (ecept smoking ofcoarse).
other drugs do...
there's nothing wrong with smoking some herbs , and it shouldnt be a problem
todays drugproblems are more: alcoholics ! and junks ! wich harm society
you would talk different when you came to holland where its accepted in society and nobody makes a problem of it.

I despise all drugs. I don't drink coffee, I don't smoke nor use any other drugs. Have tried them, yes. And yes, I have a glass of beer every now and then, but far from abuse point. Alcohol is in a different category of drugs, though still is a drug.
Drugs alter the structure of the neurons. Especially the CNS stimulants like nicotine, coffeine and heroine. THC is an inhibitor, but is so aggressive that it too changes the internal structure of the neurons.
The same effects cannot be ascribed to alcohol even in significantly higher values received in comparison to these other drugs. (actually, that's the difference between the various abuse levels in different drugs)
Drugs alter your behaviour, the workings of your nervous system, and make you an addict, dependable of something of which you really don't need to be dependable. That's my point.

good thread thing , saw it before , but as you can see there is nothing wrong with canabis.. :s , its the same as a beer of 12% orso.
other things are bad , and im against (almost) all the other things.
+ there are more possiteve things about a spliff then you think :
*you can control your 'highness' in some way
*your mood depends how you will feel after smoking
*you think about things in another way and when your sober again you will -notice you wouldnt think that without smoking , so imo it pushes you creativity.
*its a social thing , like a beer , its much cooler to do it when you have a nice chat then in a cold corner.
*sex ! damn , sex is so much better when you're just a bit high , real good.
*food !!! has never been tasted so good + you find the wickedest combinations mmmz
*laughing !!! like i said it depends how your mood is before , and when your in a funny mood , damn , well then you can have a lot of fun (lovely times)
