I think the resulting track is an awfull turd though.
I bought the issue especially for the video and found it quite disappointing, the filming and microphone work is unprofessional to the bone.

even if he aint that relaxed in front of a camera
the mistabishi video is good, that crazy little box he's got looks like a sweet bit of gear, gives some good advice on mastering too using izoptope ozone.
the sub focus and chase status videos from cm are good, chase and status show some good drum technqiues, sub focus shows some good massive programming aswell, but yeh the resulting tune was crap....sub focus has the same pc as me too, but twice! the bastard....

they do the occasional tutorial on fl studio but not often, all the techniques etc explained can be easily incorporated into fl. fl vs cubase: same shit, different ways of doing it.
yeah wicked man, liked the Chase & Status and Logistics one (although the later video was so shakey i felt a bit sick lol).
Chase and Status - gave me hope in that they reckon side chaining isn't the be all and end all, also was interested in their remarks about not putting ultra-maximizers etc on master outs (as i've had that done to a couple tunes of mine), nice guys, and some useful tips!
Logistics, i need to get my hands on a copy of wavlab, understood most of what he was doing, as i layer my sounds in a similar way, just not bouncing em!!
