Oh mate, this is wicked.
There i was talkin about tunes i love from the 90's and then you go and upload this at the same time, just amazing coincidence.
I say this because the tune is sick, fuckin sick imo!!! 
Sounds like some Ed Rush n Optical badness. Not a pendusnare in sight!! Hooray!! 
The drums are excellent, have a strange sound to them, dont get me wrong it works, really well. 
Seriously though the tune sounds so original..
0:57 - THIS IS THE SHIT MAN!!! I KEEP REPLAYING THIS PART OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
The beatz have a lazy swing time feel to them, my head is nodding bigtime,
Great ghost hits here n there..
Only 2 bad points i will say:
1. The speed lets the tune down, needs to be faster but then the DJ could always pitch it up the decks so not a massive problem.
2. The sweeping synth sound that comes in at 1:20 is too loud when it changes up to the high notes..
And thats it.. Thats all i can say is bad about this stomping track that makes me feel as if im in one of me old clubs back in '98!!

nice mix, everything in the right place. not a lot of energy in the track, rolls well. not crazy about the high part that comes in starts to become irritating quickly. only my opinion though. overall a fairly pro sounding track just not my style.

Like the guys are saying, this is definitely good shit. There's a lot of attention to detail here, especially on the fills and the breaks. What really impresses me is how you've incorporated lots of variation while still maintaining a solid theme and structure. It's constantly changing and evolving, always interesting.
It's a shame this track is a little short! 
Sound-wise, it's pretty solid. 
There's still a few tweaks which could be added to bring out the highs some more, but the overall sound is good because there's a balanced mix of frequencies. It's nice on the ear, and that's the true barometer of sound quality.
One area of improvement is the bass I reckon. Slightly muddy at the mo. It needs a tad more impact and oomph.
Good shit homeboy.

Yo drone, I have to say as much as you and tomos review, you guys should be getting like 3 pages of reviews!
Nice track, the drums are sick imo they have this vibe to them, I like em alot
Bass needs to be beefed a lil bit
The real vocal sounds "real" good
I like that synth up until about 1:20 then it just kinda takes over imo
The overall sound is pretty great.
Im sure you have to have tons of tracks on that hard drive of yours, give us a taste bd

Wow! That intro is cool, it certainly sound like something 10 years ago.
In the intro drums, I think it needs the odd ghost snare. Sounds a bit robotic
The vocal sound a bit distant, touch less reverb.
As mentioned above, it does have an Ed rush & Optical feel. The drums remind me more of Decoder.
I think the bass should be brought up a bit more and add a touch more distortion to it.
The synth isn't bad, but it sounds a bit clean and bright to me.
Like the piano stabs. Maybe use them a bit more.
Nice track though.

like the dark vibe, its not run-of-the-mill jump up
that high pitched sound is a bit alone by itself, maybe introduce a couple of midrange synths and/or rethink changing the sound itself
drums are gritty but could be clearer
I do like it but it doesnt feel finished. could be really good, keep at it!

this is the first tune you've posted since I joined the site dude in which time you've reviewed every tune i've posted.......so revenge time (mwuh ha ha ha evil laugh)
Mix is pretty solid, everything sitting pretty well, only thing that stuck out to me was the monophonic synth lead coming in at 1:20 ish which seems too loud
Bass is solid and beats are interesting throughout
Not what I'd normally be into this but its well done and made my head nod.
Good stuff

Thanks for the nice reviews everyone, I felt like uploading a tune again. It's the first time I got a score this high though.
The track is all mine, but I got some help on the technical side of things...
So many thanks go to Tomos for helping me with some this 'n thats. Without his help I would definitely not have been able to do a track this well.

Yo Battle, just drop the synth line or make it more subtle, extend the track time and maybe increse the speed for convienience and this would be perfect

sup old man.
straight off, this sounds too quiet tbh.
that aside.. i love the idea. the first time that cheeky old whompa bass hits on the intro grabbed my attention.
track rolls along nicely, the synth hit and stuff work really nice. maybe they are a tad too loud in comparison to the other samples tho.
i think this would work lots better with a more stripped beat. same kicky flow tho, just strip some uneeded loops and just layer some cleaner one shots over the originals.
nice roller tho. good to hear some flows like this.
