Please check out my new track 'Optikal Assassin - The Beast (Sephiroth Remix)' and post your comments here!!!
Not finished yet, still aint got the money to splash out on some decent monitors so the mixing that has been done has been done through headphones.
Props to Optikal Assassin for allowing peps to remix this track, good work!

This is by far the best remix of this tune I have heard. I could have done without the mmmmmassive vocal. It seems very out of place and doesnt flow. Wikkid sounding shiz for sure. Cant really comment on the overall sound, cause headphones suck for that. But it is definetly jammin. Good listen

Good shit, enjoyed it. I didn't get to hear the original tho so I can't really make a proper assessment of your work.
Good levels and sound quality throughout. You obviously know what you're doing. No complaints on that side of things.
Solid basslines and beats. Melodies are solid too.
Nice tune!

Good stuff, really dancefloor oriented, find the vocals perfect, enough action going on to keep it all going, except 2:20-2:38 which is really boring.

This remix is tha shizznizzle bizbam!
I can def. hear this beeing played out somewhere
Love that bass, sounds so grimey
Build ups are sick
Think those wolf cries need to be a little more menacing, maybe throw a dmx bark vocal in there somewhere instead of the massive vocal,
everything sounds killer bro
peace

starts well, lot of energy, that bass hit sounds great at 37 and continued through the track. what have you made that sound on and what technique did you use cos i would like to incorporate some sounds like that in my track. overall a fairly pro sounding track. good shit!

its a bass sound from one of the sample packs at dnb.wiki, chopped, reversed, distorted and bounced out. layered up twice with lows taken out of one and highs taken out the other. camel phat 3 vst on the mid/high layer with some automation on the cutoff, resonance and filters to make it sweep. then some automated chorus on the mid/high parts. slight distortion from izotope trash on the low layer of bass to distort harmonics and bring the sound out more. then some slides on the bass sound to make things more interesting.
not used any synths for the bass, just a few samples messed about with and processed/ effected to taste.

Nice intro, great synthesis. Drops are m-m-massive and bass-break parts are really well made.
I must say that it's one of the best track I recently heard.
