Please check out my new track 'Angel' and post your comments here!!!
This is a tune I've been working on for the past week. As you may expect, it's pretty dreamy and melodic - but there's a heavy part too, which is something new for me. I hope the whole thing gels together and melts in the mouth, so to speak.
It's not supposed to be a dancefloor smasher - more of a "lie on the bed, put the headphones on, and let the music take you on a journey" style of dnb.
Tell me what you think. All comments welcome and appreciated!
Btw, if you've posted a tune on here within the past 10 months or so, I've reviewed it and voted on it! So c'mon, show us a bit of love.
Big ups to the .be family!

EZ Tom
Yeah dreamy and melodic as you say. Lush pads and vocal / chanty melodies work well together as is your style. Definately a post club experience tune!
Really nice to hear your melodies going dischordant when the heavier section comes in towards 3 minutes a nice change to your usual.
A really nice vibe overall. The pads seem to be a little high in the mix in comparison to the beats and bass imo and I'm not sure the choice of kick works as well as it could. Something with a bit more snap on the attack maybe especially through the heavier section where I really think the kick gets lost.
Mix is pretty solid, arrangement is good.
Enjoyed
Peace

This is ARD, I like the smooth with the ruff, with
that what i would call tech beat it starts off great bit to long at the beging but when it gets going it's ard! geeza, Then after 4mins it
falls off and that change spoils it for me you should try rolling it a out and remove that change or
put the instruments at the beging there but what do i know it's just my opinion keep up the good work,Is this done on reason? iv got a G3 all you have to do is upgrade it, get back to me if you want on that if your still looking for a mac L8R.

Totally sweet Dream'n bass. Mixdown is phat, drums sound quite natural! You are one of the few that doesn't make just tracks, but real 'compositions'.
Not much to wine about, it's all there and it works.

some nice sounds in the intro, drums sound real clear too, liking the dreamy atmos.
choir and strings sound lush, lol, real melodic, sweet layering sounds real full.
like the stuttering on the vocals too, camelspace vst?
nice drop, bass synthy sounds are good.
loving drop at around 2:20, sweet bassline.
drum arrangment is good, not repitive, constantly swithcing.
woah! bassline at about 2:55 is heavy, build up is spot on.
3:23: this drop is hot, should be the main hook of the track, loving this now.
good work overall, good arrangment, decent mix.
unorthodox structure too, nice.

nice n dreamy the intro is nice with a tasty dirty stab. some great synths going on here for sure i really like the choice of sounds. has an ethereal feel going on, "journey" is definitely the word. the heavier part is cool for sure, nice evil change up. good work dude, lovely track, reminds me of "Matrix and Futurebound"

Been meaning to review this since i saw you upload it the other night.. Just Aint had time..
Okay here goes..
Love that phat drums intro..
FX are panned well..
Quite short though i would keep the beatz rolling for a few more bars before dropping into that very epic sounding synth free fall, which has definetly got your name stamped all over it..
Lovely strong sub in there mate.. layers that filthy acidy bass sound well.
1:40 - When the tune drops i would get rid of the backround synth elements for a short while and let the tune roll but then that would be a very normal thing to do and this track doesn't opt for that approach which is unique, something much harder to do imo..
2:55 OOHHH yes mate, feelin the darkness!! Phat hiphop beatz..
BOH!!!3:23 - yeah man, this is more my stye, best part of the track so far..
All the elements are panned well, maybe beef the snare up a bit?? DRums just feel a tad overwhelmed by the rest of the tune.
Sounds like alot of effort has gone into this tune, it really shows mate.. At around this point my tunes are sounding cluttered and muffled, in yours everything is balanced well.
- lol
A different tune structure wize..
2:55 is jsut pure sickness mate!!!
Gonna rewind this one mate, cheers, looking forward to the next chapter of Tomos sickness!!

Nice drums. That synth is lush mate at the start.
The drums sound a little flat, but nice beat.
Certainly a lot going on in it. It's a nice tune, but personally, not my cup of tea!
That second half is cool though. Sounds like some of the metal bands I used to see years ago
Sorry I'm not much help here, but the sound is very good over all.

Nice tune, i like how you added the pads along with a dj sabotage kind of feel to it in the drum n bass part. This kind of tune reminds me of the days back when dj kryptyk had his own radio show.
I still think there should have been a strong melody to it though but then again maybe it just suited you that way. But i liked the thoigh very nice and relaxing.
