Kick is drowning in the bass. the bass has too much rumble, lower it a bit in the 40-60hz area and cut off 0-30Hz.
Sounds promising.

Not so much a preview as one looped bassline...
Anyways, it's a good start. Sounds like an intro bassline to me. Beats need to sound much more fat and evil. The kick is being drowned by the bass and the snare is pretty thin. SFX are good. Not much else to say at this stage.

Sorry man, forgot to reply to your question. Yes, it sounds like it's a build-up bassline before it drops. It's kinda based around one note which is trademark build-up. Cool.
