Please check out my new track 'Skanker' and post your comments here!!!
ez dnb.be peeps,
This is a remix of one of my older, mellower tunes, but something went a bit wrong!
I seem to always make tracks that are a bit too complex, so I've tried to make this one much more straight down the middle dancefloor bizness. It's pretty unintelligent, needs more variation and fills and stuff, badly needs some eqing and volume contol as there is a bit of a fight going on in places! This isn't breaking any boundaries for sure, but I'm putting it out there to hopefully get a bit of feedback on what yer feelin so far. If anyone with some nice monitors wanna let me know what the headphones aint showing me, that too would be 'preciated!
Made with FL Studio and headphones.
Peace out, wT

Quite good actually. A bit strange choice of instruments maybe, but good buildup, EQ, levels etc.
I would add a more present bass line, replace the sax and make it heavier on the second drop.

Pretty good mate, obvious production skills being displayed here. I'm not feelin all the melodies tho. For me, they sound a bit strange and awkward. I do love that HUGE bassline during the first third of the track. Wow, thought I was listening to Dillinja for a minute!
Like I said, top notch production skills, but the melodies are not quite hitting the spot for me. Big ups to ya tho.

EZ
Interestin choice of sounds
the sax is ok but could feature less imo, clashes badly in some parts (1:58 2:08 etc)
lackin some sub bass imo
reckon without the sax there's a tune in there but it's puttin me off too much atm

Cheers all for the feedback - much appreciated!
Please note that I will return the favour as time permits - I'm expecting the wet season to start real soon so I can put a lot more time into my musical pursuits
Yeah, the sax. This is a remanant from the tune I was remixing. I left it in as I obviously want my stuff to sound a bit strange and not to everybody's taste, that's just me and my ethos!
I've decided to keep it in, but more sparingly and not the long sample, just the twisty ones and I'll probably fuck with it some more. As I will with the whole tune.
Cheers again for the feeds
Peace, wT
