Kick is weak indeed. Try replacing it with another one. If you layer kicks you can get interference in the bass freqs so they cancel each other. Try several kicks, make sure it peaks at 100Hz.

Love the vibe of this track, amen was the right choice. Vocal fits perfectly. Good progess man!

I can tell you've been at this game for a while - you've got plenty of production and compositional skills. Sounds pretty pro to me. Yep, that amen sounds massive in this tune - perhaps a little too much stereo on it at mo tho. I always like my beats in the middle. Old skool vibes like Culture already said, real jazzy junglist sound. Wish more peeps were still doing this style. Yep, slightly weak kick (I've heard worst tho!!). I'd just layer it will another heavier sounding kick. If you've already layered it a few times you may need to take one of them off before layering it again because too many layers can sound wank if they're not geling together. But yeah, coool tune. Cool

I played this track 20 times in a row and I still love it, better tweak it 'till it's finished dude...
This could have been played on a DnB show on 1Extra from Bailey and co and it would not be obvious that it was not signed to any major label.

cool tune!

vocal sounds really nice with those keys.

i think the keys could use some low end cut out of them.

drums are nice. try boosting the volume on your kick and snare. might help.

nice tune. i enjoyed it!

thanks for all the positive feedback crew. i have tried layering the kick but its just soundin distorted with the bass. same as when i try cranckin it up a bit. same kick works well in other tunes so thinkin its summat with the frequencys. still workin hard on my mixdowns but not quite doin it yet. my m8 has his reason wired thru qbass n his beats are phat. might have to get a copy

nice tune.

When i read about you using the amen i was about to go pfft but after listening it does suit this track.

Sounds like chase and status's latest tracks that use it

that vocal does get a little over used.

the bass needs some higher harmonics to it so its a little more audible. Maybe some subtle tube emulation on it.

but the vibe and tune as a whole is wicked
