I like this bass line! What you hear is just the chorus loop of a more intricate vocal track that I am hearing in my head, so yes this is a bit skeletal. It will have a more mean b line on the verses and and bridges...now if I can just learn to sing...

Good hooks, great ideas, catchy melodies but the sound is a bit messy and mushy. The snare and kick definitely need sorting out. They both need more beef and punch. It this were my track, I'd replace the snare and kick with totally new sounds.
Love the vibes in this, this one has got me moving. Turn that bassline up tho. Also, it sounds quite distant - that's probably due to too much reverb? If so, I'd take some off.
Looove that groovy breakdown after 5.00! Got an amazing funky groove.
Nice tune. Tomos likey.

All those highpassed drumloops hurt the ears when played at clublevels, eq them a bit better (the high end is too loud) lower the distortion too. You could also pitch down this loop to improve the sound, now it sounds like a lot of high end dirt, like a badly tuned radio, it eats the high end so that the rest starts to sound muffled.
The bassline is defo not bad, but it's repetitive after this tracklength.

Go on the singing!! i like the structure of the intro and build up, i think the drums could b better mixed, b line bores me abit , soz i think mine bit more ruff n dirty, i like the way u got that little noise working thru out the kickin gives it a nice funk appeal.
