Please check out my new track 'Disillusion' and post your comments here!!!
Hi guys,
its been a while since my last post.
This ones got a a light pensive feel to it.
i've been making more and more of my own samples, this track only contains two from the reason programme and they have been heavily processed.
I've also been using less loops, theres only one in this piece to bulk out the track in general.
Let us know what you think.
Cheers

wow dude, that intro gives me the urge to race down a mountain side, temperatures deep below 0 and just kickin back in a fresh blanket of sweet sweet powpow..even the rest of the track is perfect for free riding.. u should call it the "ride of the free" or something. hehe, as for the track itself, its good, i really like how the sounds work with eachother, i'm not to keen about that bloobbloob sounds coming in at 1.11 and 2.35.. there too loud imo.
still a nice track!
i always dig yer shit man.

Like most of your stuff, great melodies, great synths and a very atmospheric sound but the mix sounds a tad weak and thin. It sounds like all the beefy low end stuff is missing. The highs are there, but there's very little low mid. What equipment (hardware) are you using to produce your tunes?
I still like your track tho man, you've got very good skills in the melody department.

all the hardware i have is my KORG D4 digital recorder,
if im making my own samples i usually make a wave form by looping a short sample cut in the reason NN-XT and then put FX on it using the digital recorder, then you can either use what you have or re process it again and again for the thicker bass sounds etc.
Its also useful for master EQ and Fx on a track

Sounds way too friendly, middle of the road. It's focus is on the synths whereas drumnbass should be focused on... drums and bass. The leadsound and it's melody sound so harmless, almost trance-like, get some balls in there!
