      Safe people,
I been trying to perfect my wobbles for a while now and im getting the hang of it. I have read all of the threads already on the forum but need a bit more advice from you guys.

Im using NI Massive to make my wobbles and one problem im having is when i set my lfo to the filter cut off frequency the bass keeps phazing in and out too abviously. What i mean by that is on one end of the LFO oscillation theres too much bass and on the other end theres not enough, so the bass isnt consistant. I can reduce the amount that the LFO wobbles the filter cut off but then theres not enough of a clean or obviouse transition on the wobble.

So how can i get a clean sounding wobble with consistant bass? I can only get grainy electro type sounds out of massive and want something fat and clean.

Any tips on wobbling up massive would be great.

      one approach could be
...
LOW CUT EQ (so pull out the low frequencies) and layer a bass line under it

i second. best ay to control the bass is to make the bass seperate.

Agree, another approach could be to use 2 instances of Massive (if your cpu can manage it) one with bass on the instrument but without the Cut off lfo, the other one you'll highpass in your mixer and it has the cut off lfo going on. When you group them you can make them play the same notes. This way it is very easy to get a good sound because you use the exact same instrument on both instances. When you layer a bass under it it should wobble too and simultaneous otherwise it will sound lame and weird.

how many oscis you're using? try setting the wave start points or just use a single saw wave

better way to get a controlled wobble is the pitch detune... i hear that more than the filter lfo
