ok so i hear these alot.. check out the TitanZero & Adroit rmx of Flesheater for a good example of what i mean..

how are they done.. is it a sample stretched or shrank to fit beat or is something to do with velocity and filtering?

Put a link up or sample up on sendspace or something if you want a answer. For most people, it's to much effort trying to find the track if you don't own it.

Boy that's hard to find...
I looked at the site of Future Sickness, no direct link because this is totally flash.
select Audio, then digital and it's in that list.
release "SickDig05"
Drums sound like nothing special to me though.

They're a bunch of different samples of similar drums, EQed to sound even more similar.

NOt a bad track, that one. The drums are pretty standard. I think you need to add a bit of distortion and a bit of compression. tip: If you add distortion, seperate the drum routing, so you have the original sound aswell as the distorted drum sound. Just makes it more filled out.
