Please check out my new track 'on grass' and post your comments here!!!
this is a tune i made last summer.
it came out pretty quick. i had the main ideas down in a few hours. finished it off the next day.
the horns are a mix of 2 loops from a rex loop sample pack.
and all the movie samples are from a royalty free movie dialogue pack.
the rest is made mostly with, stylus, trilogy, massive, es1, virus c, and the esx24
any comments or suggestions are welcome

Very clean production, liquidish jumpup. Instant anthem feel. Wobbly shit work really well. You could rinse this at a party and no one would look at you as if they discovered that you threw in a "homebrew" track.
This is your best track so far and for me one of the better from 2007

really feelin this 1 nice progression, samples work well n not over used (mayby once 2 many at the end) over all soudn is rollin luv when the squarey b line comes in feels like it sudden adds a neww dimention.
lots of subbtle bits ere n there cant say 2 much more cos i like it so much only thing is the cymbal on every snare becomes over used i think u shud does use it to accent changes
big up on d track

samples fir this tune well, really well put together, arrangment is good, builds up nice. loving the wobbley bass on the drop, goes well with the jazzy horns.
mixing is good, everything sits well, drums could be a bit more lively though i reckon but overall its a good tune, nice work!

Mate i got nothin bad to comment on this tune, its pristine in quality imo..
The drums are lush, very balanced, love that snare.
Excellent variation throughout very natural funky feel certain vocals sit extreamly well in the mix, the ones with alot of high pass on them.
The only thing i would maybe do different would be to develop the bass line more and centre the tune round a dirty bass
, but that purely personal taste.
As Battle said its one of your best tunes you've uploaded on this site.
Keep rinsin it out brother!
Cheers

nice tune.
i always enjoy your work
the mixdown could be a bit tighter and brighter tho.
i like the style of jump-up liquid, so this works for me.
my main problem with this track tho, is the bass riff.
it comes across as a bit too cheesy.
but... i think with a few note changes (maybe more minor notes), this could be even better.
nice synth work with the bass, i always appreciate good work on that (i think there should be an extra vote score for bass work on dotbee)
big upz mate
