Hello everybody,
The 15th of March we strike back at Den Hemel in Zichem. This time we invited a foreign dj/producer, Jade, from Budapest (Hungary). We're also proud to announce that we have a new member: Iridium!
So, write this down somewhere:
15th of March 2008: CONFORM @ Den Hemel (Zichem)
Line-up:
JADE (BSE, 1210, Moving Shadow, Project 51, Citrus, HUN)
Jade and Matt-U is Gabor Simon (27) and Matyas Szalai (24) from Budapest, Hungary, definitely the centre of drum and bass in Central Europe.
They got introduced to Drum&Bass in 2000 after a couple of years producing in different genres separately. The style was a great impression to their production, Matt-U started working on liquid tunes, while Jade was more into the dark, technoid sounds. Jade and Matt-U both used to upload their early tunes to a hungarian production message board, which was also the starting ground of SKC and Chris.SU. Years passed, as they got deeper and deeper in the art of electronic music production, improving their sound design, mixing and arrangement.
A year after they first met in 2004, their first collaboration, 'Got Lost' was born, and gained huge success by getting singed to Black Sun Empire Recordings. They kept on working together, and created ‘Salem’ and ‘Nightmare’, both tunes came out on the mighty Moving Shadow, while another 12” was released on Ryme Tyme’s Spawn Recordings: ‘Stars’ flipped by ‘Treachery’, followed by ‘Hellhound’ and ‘Silver Wings’ out on his legendary 1210 Recordings.
Matt-U on his own focuses on liquid and dubby Drum&Bass, and he is also a member of another crew, called Soulproof. With releases at Fokuz Recordings, Citrus, Celsius,Commercial Suicide and forthcomings at Metalheadz, X-tinction agenda, and Timeless.He is also established his name as a liquid drum and bass producer and dj.
Jade alone makes harder techy tunes, like ‘Acid Flood’ came out recently on the Endangered Species LP on BSE, and ‘Bitch’ out on Citrus recordings, but he also finds joy in making bootlegs, like the massive anthem ‘Pump Friction’, a rework of the famous theme from the Pulp Fiction movie. Jade does Breakbeat too, exclusively at DJ Quest's Cyberfunk Records.
Jade and Matt-U have also successfully started their dj-carrier in 2004, gaining massive interest. Their sets are unique, thanks to their different orientation, resulting a diverse rolling dancefloor experience.
Lately they launched their studio mix series under the name of Condition Red, the first chapter already has been downloaded 15000 times, the 2nd chapter is now here to download

Stykz (Nightscapes)
This nightscapes resident can take a little bit more!! Started in the summer of 2003, Stykz got really soon the freewheelin' flow of the drum&bass. Hours and hours of hard work, constant innovation and checking out all possible records, put him on the flow. Known as a DJ with a very personal touch, and as a member of the nightscapes crew, Stykz had the opportunity to spin at many gigs with dj’s such as Remarc (Uk), Bong-Ra (Nl), Temper-D (Uk), State of Mind (NZ), SKC (Hun), Matt-U (Hun), Jacky Murda (USA), JB & Spice (Uk), DJ Probe (Uk), Fu & Amnesia (Uk), Young Ax (Ger), Cativo (Ger), Ace & S-Capade (Ger), Nymfo (Nl), Adi-J (Nl), D-Monica (Nl) and lots more.. After a performance at the StuBru studios, we all had the same conclusion! This DJ, allready big in Limburg, wants to check out the rest of the country!!!

Scypus (Battlefield, Pressurelab.com)
I discovered the drum & bass scene at the age of 16, after downloading "DJ Tito - November mix 2005" from PressureLab.com. Immediately after that, I visited the event Stealth Bombers at JH Wommel. I simply lost all my intrest in other music besides drum & bass.
After a lot of hard work I finally bought my turntables (November 2006). Spending lot's of time behind the decks, and after 4 months I organised my first party "Battlefield". 2 Editions were organised, The first one headlined Echo Virus & DJ Tito, and the second edition with DJ Silvahfonk from the Netherlands.
I got booked more and more, playing at events like: Sub.System, Waksation, Floorparty,... and I became a resident DJ at JH Zigzag. I also got invited to play a set at jungletrain.net during the show "Pitchcontrolradio" (NL).
Lately I putted my first steps into producing & i'm organizing an event together with mofe kru called ROLLOUT.
I also became a member of PressureLab
I played alongside DJ's like SFR (SA), Silvahfonk (NL), Wontime, Echo Virus & DJ Tito, Starski & Tonic, Harry Poppins,...
