ive got a nice bass line, its all set uo and im makin it fade in using modulation.

i start recording with the mod fully on and it comes of to make the full sound.

sounds simple but when i do this, it makes the rest of the bassline thru out the whole track stay on full mod when ive not even touched any of it?

what am i doing wrong? any sollutions, well aprt from use fl and cubase lol

make sure your automation lane is open the whole length of the b-line. otherwise, and im not sure, but i think the automation will continue on at the last point it was at unless you open more lane to make it do other wise if that makes any sense?

yeah and watch out for overlaps if you decide to move the parts around. that had me going mad in the beginnings...

Make sure the knob is at the setting you want it to be for the entire track, than alter your modulation lane. Reason will take that as the default and return the know to that setting when you don't apply the automation.

seems totally shit is does this but owell! luckily it now has the razor function else id be naffed!
