Please check out my new track 'Smiley Gazz' and post your comments here!!!
I thought Id go back to making my own drum patten from oneshots.
its a bit chaotic but believe me thats just how I like it.
I have tried my best to fit some synths and stuff to the drum tack but I seem to have difficulty with the drum & bass sounds

Very unique sound.
Certain drum hits don't sit very well i n the mix.
The 1st comes in approx 1:12. Second later approx 1:59. I assume this is a early version and can be easily rectified.
I really like the sound of your drums, especially your use of rides, crashes and toms. You have an interesting way of using very non-dnb drums.
If you are having trouble with "drum & bass" sounds, you should perhaps try making an amen/ reese track with some edits and your own unique drum hits layered on top. Might be an interesting experiment for you to try.

Like that 8 bit arcade noise in the intro man
Drum programming does work although the beat dont really cut through
Don't like that synth brass much. Pads are good though.
The whole thing is ok but lacks some direction. Needs a bass line or lead or something to drive the tune.
All a bit wishy washy at the mo.
Peace

Yeah, a cool mix of sounds, especially the drumming. Feels a bit 'up in the air' for me at the mo because there isn't a melody which is dictating the direction of the track. You need a solid bassline is there I reckon. Like I said, nice drumming in this, I like the natural sound you get. It feels fresh and alive. I love that arcarde sound too.
