I guess you're still working on the breaks in the intro so I guess they're not worth commenting on. like the stabs alot, buildups, breakdowns, variations in the basslines, fucking sweet. Everything in the track will need beefing up, but I guess you knew that already.

the sudden stabs int he intro sound weird placed to me, maybe filter em in or something?

apart from the sine I'd get some other elements in the intro, coz it sounds empty to me now.

gonna be a blast, once again Devil

I can definitely see you've got really good production skillz but this just ain't my cup of tea I'm afraid. The melodies seem quite random and don't gel together. It lacks any kind of warmth or grooviness, almost doesn't seem like a dnb tune to me - more a mad kind of rave (I think they call it hardcore).

But like I said, cool production techniques.

thanx Smile yeah i agree

but tomos , i dont make dnb do make people groovy Big Grin but i understand your point...

when you want to party then you have to party good on party music , an dont understand people that want to party on liquid dnb or funky groovy dnb ... honestly

i do listen to funky groovy music , but then for homelistening or to chill out and not to party

but thats my vision

dnb should be partymusic ! Big Grin

Not a big fan of 2step to be honest. That being said this track has a lot of potential I think.

Mix isnt that gr8, but this is a preview so I am not sweating it.

this is kind of weird, but this track isn't quite fun enough. It skates between being a hard dark track, and a fun dark party track. It may not be your goal, but I want it to be a little more fun, hence to make it more of a party song like you stated. While this can be balanced, like I said it just doesnt seem quite fun enough.

I commend the idea of making a dark Limewax style 2step rave track, but it isnt quite there yet. I think a good track to listen to, although very much not the same style at all, but it captures the fun/ party type rave feel I think you want is the Bong-Ra track HELLO MY COCK IS AN AARDVARK on the monsters of mash up ep on ad noiseam:

I think your combination of dark 2step w rave/ hardcore feel is a great and original thought. This kind of thinking propels dnb into new realms which I believe is really important to the dnb scene/ genre as a whole.

EZ Grey

Like the intro, nice melody from the pad, nice distorted break. Good synth stuff in the build.

Is a bit ravey for my liking when it drops, think it would sound a lot better if you just cut that lead synth IMO.

Good work generally though

Peace

Hmmm, well. Are you moving away from plain darkness?
It sounds to much 90's rave to me. Early Prodigy is never far off. The synth stabs in the intro come too early and they mess witht the vocal because one is focused on that in the intro. The melodies seem to be rather random and not sure if they all fit together. That synth is not my cup of tea it sounds quite "worn off".

Try to move away from the standard elements and make it more your own, less melodies, keep the ones that fit together. Different synth as lead or stuff it with FX.
Work the bitch.

lol no. its still on the listen page.

I know this dunno from where... did you aim me this?

anyways, the high synth line could go octaves down at points / replace with a bassline

sound is a little thin, this would go another dimension once it gets pumped up

modulation on the synth would be cool

otherwise nice beats, nothing special but fast pumping

extra points for originality

keep at Drummer
