Yay new head phones, i dont have to use my mp3 player ones now.
this one is pure chilestep
Dnb + Trance etc.
I read the article on EQ'ing on Digital Redux, it was quite helpful.

Yeah, nice trancey melodies going on. Clement listening.
Your mix is really, really quiet tho - you need to find a way of turning it up. What software are u using? If it's FLS, it's really easy - just turn up the master level until the loudest parts are touchin into the red.
When this track turned up in the player, it sounds pretty good. However, you definitely need to give those beats some extra punch, they are a bit flat at the mo. Try layering the snare and kick with some harder sounds.
Otherwise, a nice cool track.

Not in love with the snare, it doesn't fit the rest of the track I think. The whole track has a bit of an 8bit feel to it (Commodore 64 lead). EQing, stereo image and levels are well done, but the track doesn't really "pick me up"???
There's one sound in the intro that ends with a slight crackle.

Yeah agree with th BD on this one, sounds a bit reduced bit rate.
Love your melodies as usual, definately your strongest point. Nice and simple but don't get repetitive.
Drum programming is good but your choice of sounds is a bit thin.
Could do with being a bit dirtier and a bit dirtier generally IMO.
Peace
