Please check out my new track 'Dream' and post your comments here!!!
Howdy. Been a long time!
Made this track entirely on headphones, not sure how the subs are going, or anything else for that matter really! Let me know.
I've attempted to make this track of the variety 'phat stepping track with a warm vibey aspect throughout' suffice to say it's probably a bit different/odd. I hope it is, anyway.
All comments really appreciated. (even positive ones har-de-har!)
Peace,
wT

Great melodies, sounds nice. Intro is a bit long. The drop at 1:50 is disappointing. Expected the track to get in to a bursting bass action or something. All in all the track is too thin on the low end I think. The middle part doesn't roll as well as the intro. The second drop starts of great, but then again an anti-climax. I think you should restructure the track and make a couple of buildups to that result in phat rolling parts. The track is well worth it.

Very nice intro. I like the percussion drums. Yeah, the drop at 1.50 is a little flat. It seems to lose all the bottom-end. You need a fat bass in there. I love the sections from 4.30 - 4.48.
and from 5.30 onwards. I'm not too keen on those high-pitched synths and when you turn them off, the track gets interesting! Not much else to say really, a well produced track. Good levels throughout and good structure. Well done!

Thank you plenty for your comments. Really helpful
I was aware that there was some bass issues but it's so hard to pick on headphones - I know what is responsible and will remedy that.
I'll try shuffling things around somewhat and get some beef into the low.
Thanks again.
Peace

easy - been listening to this track on headphones and it sounds fukin awesome - the production quality is fukin mad bruv. fukin love it
do with the others about the bass - and the drop - unless u make the first drop at 1.51 like a fake drop then keep building and go all out at like 2.12 or somink.
anyways - like the fact that it aint that samey so u won me over on that aspect.
the snare pitch ups and the beats at the end remind me of when i was young and when happy hardcore and dnb were pretty similar. however this has got better production!
peace
