Its on my brand new computer which i havent got a decent soundcard for yet, and there are only two available channels (1 and 2) on the audio output section (with the 64 channels) so im currently unable to use the other 62 channels... is this just because at the moment im using my pcs integrated soundcard?

I don't think so... any on board soundcard can more or less reproduce the sound of any DAW. It's just that it may have an awfull high latency.
Your current situation is so drastically bad that I'm quite sure something is not set up correctly. You should be able to use Reason quite normally on that machine. I used Reason 3 on a slow old laptop with the onboard sound (which was the lamest crap card ever) and it worked fine (under the circumstances ofcourse) and played all channels.

I took a screenshot and wrote down what my problem is on the picture, can anyone tell me if there's something I need to do to get it working?

edit: i looked at the help section on reason and it tells me if my card is a regular stereo card (which i think it is although it claims to support a 7.1 sound system) only 2 outputs will be available, and if it has multiple outputs i select that driver and i can access the 'channels' button to change the no. of channels... have i just solved my problem or is there something else?

I see you have 92ms latency, maybe you should install ASIO4ALL to get it down!

You know you can link mixers by routing one's Master Out to another's Chaining Master? I never use more than 1 channel on my Audio Out device. The multiple channels are for soundcards with multiple outputs, for people who want to run those separately through a hardware mixer.
