I made this track back when i was 14 when i barely knew what drum and bass was and had only know it existed for 2 months or so,
i had a sudden rush of inspiration
made with reason
just wanted to know what people think, i have alot of older music i made (the Uberchile album) which i might remake witht he help of this site.

Some stuff is panned pretty extreme, you might want to center it a bit more, especially elements with bass in them.
Instruments are way too basic. The track needs a more clear layout, it's not going anywhere. The drums are not upfront enough, they need compressing and you might want to layer some break underneath to get them more rolling.

Nice moody vibe throughout. Melodies are pretty tight and gel well together. There seems to be one theme and vibe running through this, and that's cool. Yep, Battle is right - too much exteme panning. It's a bit disorientating to listen to at high volume. The beat pattern sounds decent enough but it's waaay too far in the background. They need to be much more upfront and punchy.
You can definitely tell this was an early dnb tune cos there's none of the usual elements - like drops, subs, beat edits, etc, etc. It sounds more trance than dnb. But it's still cool.

easy now - yeh do agree with the others about the panning but apart from that i like this one. the drum pattern is kool - will benefit from being more upfront. maybe the tune is a bit too maximised or somink? anyways - the melodies are cool - would be awesome with a big drop i reckons. anyways good first tune man.
