So, who in here BELGIAN ... can play a live set of dnb ?
i don't mean with a band and all, i mean like a laptop set, or with hardware.

Hi ZARk , how soon is soon?
I have a DnB live project with 3 mc's in ableton. We have a set of 40 minutes (all original work), but no decent recording yet.
You can always check out some of our rehearsals at www.ig91.be , but they're not really representative because of the relax , TV on atmosphere.

I mix can mix with computer based programs ( bpm studio )
I even have litlle sets and 3 mc working with me

dnb-levendegem ,you should check out ableton , it allows you to mix you're songs more dynamicly and more live
ex: song A is playing
-> kill the the drumtrack of song A
-> start the hihats of song B
-> add some ambient tracks from song B
-> kill some other tracks of song A
-> send song A thru a filter while adding lead from song B
-> kill song A while at the same moment jumping in song B to the drop

and after little preparation you can do all this with your midikeyboard , live , at any bpm

I have a 40 mins set of 14 tracks i can mix in random order , i can go from the buildup of 1 song into the drop of an other, replace the drums of song A with the drums of song B and coolest of all , i can use the inputs of my soundcard for 2 mics , each with individual compressor , eq , delay , .... inside ableton

idd! i've been using ableton since it came out, before that, it was pretty hard to do livesets...
