Antistatik - Ad Noiseam Label Night: an update
On Saturday, 8th December 2007 the second edition of Antistatik will take place in Waterfront in Rotterdam.
The guest of the night will be the record label Ad Noiseam. Five artists representing the label will be hosted by the label manager, Nicolas Chevreux, and will treat the public to a mixture of experimental styles. On the second stage you will find the very best of the Dutch underground scene.
Ad Noiseam stage
The Berlin-based label Ad Noiseam is coming to Rotterdam. This information has not stayed unnoticed by the fans of experimental electronics: the praising reactions were literally all over the place. Antistatik, the concept that brings innovative labels to the Netherlands, asked the label manager Nicolas Chevreux to compose the line up. An exclusive program was created for this occasion: three artists Mad EP (UK), Mothboy (UK) en AZ-Rotator (ES), making their début on the Dutch ground will be joined by DJ Hidden, as well as the notorious metal/breaks-artist Drumcorps (DE). The Ad Noiseam stage will be opened by the talent from the domestic ground: Stalcon.
Dutch Beats 'n Breaks
In the second room, which has been recently renovated, Antistatik will present a selection of the Dutch Beats 'n Breaks formations. Seven back2back sessions, consisting of 2 residents will show you what each collective stands for: Capslock vs. B-slave (Ketacore), King Pin vs. Bart Hard (Not Your Monkey Not Your Robot), Element Destruction vs. Nekompromat (Smackdown), Mez vs. Torsion (NGM), Cup-a-Core vs. TCO (Puinzooi), Stefan vs. Martha aka Spark (ZMK) en Thye vs. Assassin (Chemical Strike). These collectives have earned their credits in the alternative scene and are appreciated widely because of their contributions to innovative house music.

AST.712 – Ad Noiseam Compilation (12'')
The second vinyl compilation of the label Antistatik Records: AST.712 Ad Noiseam Compilation will be released during Antistatik. This record contains four tracks representing various styles and is produced by DJ Hidden, Mad EP, Mothboy and AZ-Rotator. The record is a perfect reflection of the Ad Noiseam's sound: diverse and free, but always of the highest quality. AST.712 will be available during Antistatik at the Ad Noiseam stand. Furthermore, Kanaal 0, a magazine of electronic music and art, will also be present with a stand where you can buy the fourth issue of the magazine including a free t-shirt.
Antistatik crew visits Marcelle at DFM radio + LIVE registration by Deadly Buda
For those who cannot come on the 8th December, the sets from the Ad Noiseam stage will be broadcasted by DFM radio, ILL FM and Deadly Buda, all web radio stations focussing on underground music. The sets will also be recorded, and made available for downloading on the Antistatik website later. The earlier Antikast’s and live sets are available for downloading via the Antistatik website in the blogs section.
