you got use ready made breaks firast to see where they position the whole breaks and the sounds in there .learn off those that way its a lot easier than tryiung to make your own until you have learnt
__ did you know that some men go out with men not as freinds!!! huummm thats a bit odd aint it!!!!!!

It would be pretty impossible to write something like that. That track has at least 3 different loops in it. Best bet is downloading some loops and put them into a sequencer like Reason, FL studio ect and start cutting them up in to an interesting pattern. Just start of easy or you will probably find it a nightmare. Have fun and
Good luck.

TRY THIS........
make a few of your own simple breaks but with little ghost snares and side stick rolls/hits etc. make each break different to the previous one!
then load them into your beat slicer and you will get that full sound in the beats. make sure to chop and change them around (have fun with it)
and this way, you can still say that they are purely yours from scratch.
i do this a lot!

You want to avoid using loops and modify them, yet reach a result comparable to what this clip is made off.... -> Forget it.
This clip uses a lot of elements from the amen break. The producer who made this recycled beats like hell. I tried to make my own breaks too when I was just starting off. It's a normal thing to do I guess, but you have to accept that you can not do this with just samples (of single hit kick and snares).
You can make your typical k---s-k---s-----k---s-----k---s- of individual samples and then add the stuff in between (the ghost elements) from other breakbeat loops. Add some hihats or some rides on top. Don't worry about it not being original enough. There are so many good basic drumloops to use for ghosts that no 2 attempts to make a drumline will result in the same sound (if you not only use 1 classic break).
-Use a drumslicer (Fruity Slicer, reCycle, ... ) to slice the break into single hits.
-Remove the kicks (to avoid colliding kickdrums with your single hits)
-Replace the empty spots(from the kicks) with hihat or ghost hits to get is rolling again.
And one last tip: Experiment , Experiment and Experiment more.

Great thank, very helpfull. I dlded some loop packs from this site and tried to group them + sliced, changed + EQed each and used filtres (kontak2) - the sound was much different from the original and rather cool. And so u re right, I d better continue in this way. Without fokin headache that i usually get using cubase drum editor to place tons of kicks, snares, hats

You might be surprised by this, but after a lot of messing around (maybe a couple of years) you'll be able to make more and more of the break by one hits as you'll develop methods to make things rolling.
I forgot to mention btw: If you use a break to make things rolling and you use a one-hit kick and snare as main construction so to speak it is a good idea to high-pass the break to avoid any ghost elements and even the snares to collide with the low end form your main kick and snare. Highpass at 100-150Hz to taste. If you use 2 breaks, you should highpass the one with the best mids at 100Hz and the one with the best high-end (hihats, rides,...) at 450Hz.
Try to use one very good (and thus often used) break and one less know for some ghost hits only.
Don't stack 10 breaks on top of eachother, more is not always better. Use 1-2 good breaks, maybe add a ride-or-hihat-only break.
Nothing is written in stone, do it your way.

Ah, the old mighty wisdom from the Battle man. Yep, don't layer the beats with too many loops... it veyr really works well. Stick to 2 or 3 really decent loops if you feel you must use loops.
