another HARD ASS -DARK Step junglin track from the gritty pits of a south african vagabonds bedroom cave----please give me feedback----i could do with a couple of suggestions as to what the track needs....

Some sounds are badly distorted, maybe you should check their EQing and levels, it all seems way over. The composition is nice, could do with some longer atmospherical pads, synths, fx, ...

This really needs some kind of ongoing beat to keep you listening. Great mind-bending sounds there for filling in between though. Sort the EQ out, it's hard on the ears! I did listen to it all the way thorough though. Keep at it!

like some of them but others just are bit overkill imo stops it being clear

Ouch! Ear stinking sounds! Check your EQ like the others said. Also, tone down the reverb. Sounds like it was recorded in an empty warehouse - that's probably the sound you were after but perhaps you should turn it off for some of the beats. I always think that putting reverb on beats takes away some of the edgyness and intensity. It usually only works for small segments and fills, imo.
Pretty cool ideas there, especially with the beat edits and fills. Needs a fat bassline tho. It's lacking some bassy growl. I love that "breathy" sample where you stop everything and you just hear the guy's breath. Very creepy! Lovely.

a good tip would be to turn off ALL fx and see what it sounds like then.
the whole track sounds like me squashing a bag of crisps (potato chips) violently!
some nice edits and programming tho.
dark and nasty sounds...could be better with a remixdown.
look up 'eq tutorials" and get stuck in.
