The snare is not punchy enough, the break is not balanced this way. Kick and snare need work, break needs a few layers to get it rolling. Sounds a bit empty overall.

Fucking awful, don't know why you bothered with this one mate. Stop posting crap tunes on this site and go waste someone else's time...
Only joking, it's fucking bangin man!!
It made me smile cos I recognise some of the samples from FLS. Shit, I've even used them myself! The basses are very impressive. Seems to be a speciality of yours.
Not overly keen on the flute thing during the intro. It's good but I don't think it fits the track really. I reckon you should try replacing that with a different sound - perhaps a jazzy or bassy sound - but keep the pattern. (I know that'll change the melody tho cos that sample has a double-note thing on it).
Like I said, impressive basslines. If me bird wasn't in the room now I'd be bangin me nuts off to this for sure!
That bassline from 1.48 to 2.04 is sick. Love it!!
Beats are pretty good. Working well with the basslines. I'd make that snare sound a bit harder tho. Keep it fat but give it more punch. Same with the kick. Also, some rides may sound nice in parts to get the beats flowing more.
Nice one matey, loving this one!

cheers maties.
beats are gonna get grimier now.
gonna layer another kick and snare (btw each has 3/4 layers already).
@tomos... i havent used any standard fl samples?
i'm not gonna layer any more breaks because i want a two steppy
simple jump up groove. got quite a lot in there already, maybe i need to turn the fillers up. definatley actually.
i need to find something to put in alongside the main bass in the drop
to add another layer for depth, any suggestions?

Ah right. Hmmm, I've definitely heard that flute thing before. Maybe it was somewhere else. Can't remember where I heard it now.

Hmm, good question. I reckon something dirty sounding or perhaps a jazzy vibe or even a reggae-like vocal hook, depending on where you want to take the track. Nothing too clever, trippy or synthy - it wouldn't sound right.
... listening to the track again. Got a "black" vibe to this, for want of a better word. Some soul, hip hop or reggae-like vocals/stabs might be nice.
I'd defo keep the bass as the main focus tho cos that's what holds this track together.

Yo 7
Not loving the beats on this man. I think its just a personal thing with the timing of the double kick drum. Otherwise, they're well programmed and mixed.
Wobbly bass is up to your usual high standards.
I do get the feeling from the tune that it lacks a bit of direction as you said.
IMO I reckon it needs rearranging, make some of the sections shorter and rotate them more frequently? ? I don't know.
Nothing particularly wrong with any section. Errr..... Sorry thats about as much that springs to mind.

Hey man,
without gettin all emotional n shit on your ass, as someone who hasn't bin a registered producer on here for that long, it is folks like you n tom n phil n surya n Halph etc etc who consistently post reviews that encourage noobs like me to post reviews.
In the long run I reckon you'll get less reviews and the site will suffer if we don't keep givin peeps feedback n encouragement.
Unless you reckon we can force the fuckers into reviewing regularly of course

LOL! Cool idea... if you don't review at least 1 track per week you automatically get your internet connection cut off.

Yeah, but you gotta review the tracks from the newbies when they first arrive? It's gonna be hard keeping up with who has and who hasn't reviewed your tracks man. It's the people who post tracks and ask for comments but are constantly lazy when it comes to reviewing other tracks - those are the cheey fuckers you gotta target. And I'd agree that we should stop reviewing their particular tunes.
Sorry, offtopic.

mighty binary havoc! i like you
i'm not naming names, because its not a big enough a deal to start all that.
i can pretty much guarantee that you all get plenty of feedback from me. check down the first page of 'tunes' section and i'll bet i have left
a comment/review on most of them. NOT ANYMORE!
BUT...i will still comment and review on the super noobs and people that are regularly helpful reviewers or that even just leave a comment saying "nice track/shit track" or whatever.
i'm pretty sure that a lot of the people on here dont even bother
listening to half the tracks that come on the site, let alone comment.
imo, the two most important parts of the site are the 'reviews' and the 'production questions and answers'. the rest is just the fun.
i reccomend that you all take the same stance, because it will eventually force more comments and reviews from EVERYBODY.
i still love everyone
, i just wish that more effort was done on the reviews and comments (apart from 5 or 10 usual good guys).
that is the main attraction of the site imo.
its what makes this site different to the rest.
try this experiment.....check your last tune posted. whoever left comments, then return the favour on their most recent track (if you have already, skip that person or make sure to do their next one)
I'm not saying dont do any reviews, just do them for those that you think deserve them .
@thechronic or battledrone...
could you please delete this track.

intro beats are crisp and nice.
like the build up and as per usual heavy dancefloor drop.
yeah i like this, i'm not really a jump up man but this has enough variation to keep me interested.
i like your sub bass it is very dirtty.
the mixdown on this is tight as well.
maybe a tad too much sub but i'm just trying to be critical.
good work thoufgh mate.
