Automation was also possible before aswell, its just been made more easier and obvious to do.

there's two lfo's in subtractor, two in malstrom, and i don't know how many in thor ...

seriously it's worth getting reason 4 just for this, such a fat sound Shocked

and it comes with a hoover preset Big Grin

other stuff that was showed was the new sequencer, which puts every automation in a new track instead of merging it all into one.

RPG-8 is cool as well, as it has a screen showing how the notes will be spread (so there's a pianoroll with the notes changing position and length when you twist the knobs)

oh and there was one full reason packet to win..

but i won a fucking reason cap Roll Eyes

so everytime I want to lfo something unlfoable I gotta create a whole instrument

as for hipass filter
isnt it crazy having to create a whole thor in order to get a simple hipass ???

the tool window & changes to the sequencer are the best bit. the pre count is a nice addition. But thor isnt anywhere close to replacing any of the vsti i use. the arp is a waste of time. the re groove is a nice addition but you could still get the same effect from v3 if you know what your doing with recycle and the shuffle/quantise

its getting better though.

reason with vst support is kinda my ideal set up as i could bin cubase and the only other thing id need would be something like wavelab for editing/recording audio. dont think it will ever happen though Mad

maybe time to switch to fruity

I still don't see why they fail to add basic stuff like
- A stand alone filter unit that actually has a HP filter Huh

- A delay line that supports ping-pong delay and a filter so that the sound gets filtered more as it is delayed more
