So there's a fun story behind this one. Recently while listening to a John B podcast, I heard D.Kay's remix of the 2001 house tune 'Maniac' which is a remake of the Hall & Oats version. I spoke with D.Kay and he was being stingy, claiming that it was 'just a lil dj booty' for himself and a few others.
So I decided to do my own version!
Now of course there's quite a few differences between my version and d.kays. Thoughts welcome of course. 
This track has been deleted because of copyright violation

To me, this isn't drum n bass at all. Obviously the melody is very rave-orientated and there's none of the crunching basslines, sub and FX that we're accustomed to in dnb. More importantly, the beat is definately not dnb!
But don't get me wrong, this is a super tune. Very catchy and commercial!! 
You've got a definite hit on your hands here!! Seriously.
I do like the sound of the bass and the 80s-like beats. The production quality overall is top notch. I cant offer any suggested changes cos I don't think it needs any.
Although it pains me to say it - I really did enjoy that!!!

I agree. Taking a pop song and adding a breakbeat and a deep bass, making it the usual DnB BPM doesn't make it DnB. It's still a pop song, just as it was before.
By the way, it contains copyrighted material, so I'll have to remove it. Sorry.
