this is the evil seed from panacea, how is the bass called in this song, is this a reese? Any ideas how to create this bass?

A generator (vst)

A sample (wav, mp3)
- reece sample
- bass sample + distortion + eq

distort 2 Saw waves of the same octave with one that is detuned by a few cents, about 30cents. the fine control for one of the waveforms usually does it.


you can layer one a sine wave an octave below to giv bass.

and have it played as a monophonic, as in one note at a time that glides between notes.


then kill 2 babys.

in that order.

actual guitar distortion, like the amp grunge and all, is what you need to do Hardcore style Kicks. or bass hits. generally you can find them from Impulse response/Convulsion, there not as good from emulators, for bass at least.

real amp distortion would be better. just run some 808 or 909 BD through.
