Bit minimalisctic and oldschool with just sub basses, but for a first tune it's really good. Avoid putting your bassdrum in stereo. The kick could use some more low end as well.

Definite old school feel to this. It's slower and more simple than most tunes today. Reminds me a bit of the tunes on MetalHeadz vol 2, Platinum Breakz (1997).
The beats are good, especially the breaks in the second half. However, they sound quite thin. You need to beef the sound up. Also, the break down in the middle takes too long. I was left wondering "Has the track finished?". You could probably shorten that part to half.
The tune kind of repeats itself (old school style again). It would be nice to hear some different fills, edits and sounds coming in.
But nice first tune Collective.

It's been a good week upto now, 2 producers showing their first track and they were both really good (I remember my first track
, in fact I still need to improve a lot). The last part of 2007 promises a lot of good stuff to appear on this site. Yummy.
