the more i look into this dubstep, the more i see it's just people that are addicted to 60hz sine wavs. prooving that if someone makes a song with nothing but that and the occasinal snare, people would be like
"OMFG THIS IS THE BESTEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!!!!! WHY DIDN'T ANYONE DO THIS BEFORE?!"
here i thought it was some cool experimental music, it's just gimmicky.

So much for the idea that dubstep has only 1 snare each bar
I still don't see what connects all these tracks and who is to say what is dubstep and what not and on which basis.

so, more swing? no it's SYNCOPATION, it's all off time snare hits, no matter the speed. listen to skream, just don't get this shit. it's the wobble part of dnb, and beeps, but without the MASSIVE drums. in the 90's they had a name for this shit.
bass test.
just with more wobble and syncopation, YEA?

I like those French dubstep producers
actually quite a few tunes I liked in there.
Especially GrimeJah(5:32) and Major Klemt & Ohmwerk (6:10) are great.
The drumlines do roll and the basslines are really great.

Cool lyrics on The Clouds Clip too. In fact, they're all good tunes.
