Please check out my new track 'Winds of Warwick (96k)' and post your comments here!!!

This track is completed with remixes on the way from Materia and possibly Shiftlock. It's uplifting with complex synth work and arpeggios.

Nice tune phrenzy

Agree with all comments that its a little cheesy but don't think it harms the tune much. It's still really well put together and kept my attention. Synth lines are well written with good melody and the mix is clear.

Cant help thinking that the tune needs more of an intro and could do with being a bit harder throughout (as it is at 4:30)

Overall though a well produced tune

Nice one!

Ooohhh, I love this!! 80's style all over this!!!! Fuckin love it. You've got me dancing to this one.Dance

Bassline is a hairline too loud. I reckon you should just tweak the bottom-end down a little and it'll be sorted.

Nice variation on the main melody towards the end. There's some nice subtle changes in there.

The beats take a back seat in this track and they are a little quiet in comparision to the bassline, imo. Also, I'm not too keen on the snare sound. It needs to be a bit sharper and punchier.

Excellent synth work. Good sound and really, really catchy.

I grew up on New Wave and 80s Freestyle... no way around it. As much as I'd love to produce crazy shit like spor or calyx or teebee, when I sit down at my DAW commercial music comes out.

I decided not to fight it... to just go with the flow. I seem to be a lot more productive when I do what comes naturally. And hey, John B seems to be doing pretty well. I could dress all 80s if it got me playing at WODNB and having adoring 18 year olds dnb sluts crawling all over me. lol

Wow! Sounds really pro. Not the kind of tune that gets me on the dancefloor, but it could be a nice game soundtrack. Nothing to complain really.

No I'm not from warwick... but......

I'm a paranormal nerd... and I sent in an audition video to be on that show Ghost Hunters on sci fi... and I needed a music bed for my video. TAPS, the group the show is based on, is based in Warwick, RI. Hense the title 'Winds of Warwick.'
