Hi there demolition,
I like the intro on this tune, more the piano type sound than the evil barking type sound, although i think the barking sound does go ok with the beat.
I also like when the first little intro beat drops in and how you only hear the ringing piano before it drops. The Kicks before the main intro beat are also very effective, and i like how they are used throughout the tune.
As for the beat in general, i think you have some good stops, but its a little harsh throughout IMO. Im feelin some off the fills though. Also like the basses, nice and gritty.
Keep playing around with the tune and work on the beat some more and it should come together nicely

i think this site is more dominated by the heavier stuff myself
i like the pads and atmosphere on this, they are quite haunting and scary. the beats are the best thing. they are charged up and quite electric which is nice. actually as i listen, i think the beats are a bit too stereo. wow this is hectic. good programming but not enough groove and flow for my likings. the whole track seems to be too stereo. it sounds a bit like this was recorded from a live club or something.
despite that this is quite well written and composed.

i like a lot of the ideas but the mix lets this down i'm afraid.
soory broski.
the piano is sickly dark...nice.
the atmos is fierce and naughty.
beat edits are nice but they sound way too wide.
BUT WAIT.........
lol...."jump up conspiracy"!!! i dont think so dude!
do you know the amount of shit i have had to read on reviews of my stuff for been more jump up? LOTS!!
so much crap about too much wobble too standard a beat etc etc.
greyone, cynik, halph-price, surya, friscko, extension trigger,
demolitionkid, nosrac, hardplnsdrftr, cj styles, etc etc.
i wouldnt think these are jump up......no?
stay cool in NC DK.
peace out brother!

Yeah the toy piano bit is well spooky as someone mentioned b4. Beat is well aggressive man with some cool edits. Tune is lacking some meat on its bones imo but if dark minimalism was what you were after you've certainly achieved it.
Drum programming is the standout part for me but the rest don't really float my boat.

Hahaha the jump up conspiracy! I really like where this tune goes. Definitely different. The one thing that bothers me is that it sounds like one of the stereo channels is 180 degrees out of phase. Really fucks with my ears. I'd probably mono-out the drums from the left channel then use a multi-band stereo imager to put just a bit of stereo on the top-end. Overall, dope tune.

The stereo is way too wide. The drums should be almost mono, except maybe for some hats. EQing needs quite some work.
Not a bad track though

Yeah, the stereo is much too wide. Also, the sound is too muddy during the main breaks. Really cool things going on here tho, original ideas - especially with the beats. They are excellent, fuckin mental!! Love them.
If only the stereo wasn't as wide, these beats would sound much heavier and centred. Love the bassline too, although it gets swamped by the other SFX and stuff, which are quite loud and in the same sound range.
Definitely like this one!! Does need some work on the sound tho. Keep at it.

man i got a reaction from the jump up comment !!
its funny cuz the people i was refering to really dont respond much anymore.hey i have nothing against the dif styles i just noticed that the pendulum style beats seem to get alot of cred.they do sound really clean maybe thats why....yeah the master was panned all crazy so ive tweaked the izotope hopefully the right way to fix that.you guys are like my internet family man.....i respect and value your opinions in everyway.i feel sometimes like maybe i shouldnt comment on a song because i often wonder if what im saying is more influenced by what i would want to hear vs what is going on engineering wise.thank you guys and gals i swear im coming to belgium as soon as i can get some shows over seas.cynik i will finish this track because it will get signed i hope....i have a label that wants to hear the finished track.so wish me good luck and i wish you all packed shows filled with hoes
