starts nice and relaxed
very late 90ees feel to this
not too keen on the sub bass; its ok but could have been much more imo
it needs a vocal sample or two though thats down to personal preference too
all in all a cool lil tune

This is great. Really enjoyed it. The only thing is it seems like the hats could come up about 1-2dB, but man that''s just me nitpicking. Great mellow tune.

sounds sophisticated
but you could do a lot more with that drum patten and add a lead instument comming in now and then with a nice little ditty or add an other pad to compliment that nice one your using even doble it up !ocasionally

I know it's still early days but I reckon you should start incorporating more sounds into the mix - some echo-ladden acoustic guitar perhaps, some soft vocals, high-pitched SFX - that kind of thing. LTJ Buken is a master of this style.
