Every week I'll be sharing some info about the artists on this Therapy's line-up:
This week: KHANAGE

After first meeting Lethal on premier London Drum and Bass station Rude
88.2FM, Khanage quickly noticed similar tastes in D’n’B and other music.
With both living in East London the pair decided to work in the studio together, making a range of Drum and Bass that would catch the ears of DJ’s and labels from across the scene.
The first signing would come from Ohm Resistance based in New York, USA.
The label was instantly attracted to the musical aggression and style that fitted the Ohm ethos completely, the first release for the label was to be ‘Misbegotten Souls’ followed by a Single entitled "ProjectX flipsided with Identity's 'snap!'
Following on for Ohm resistance is 'Fuck you!' the hip hop inspired banger, and music for Obliterati-Ohm's sister label for more experimental music...look out for 'Cannibal Holocaust' w/ Submerged and 'Rise Of The Beast'
Historic label Vibez Recordings picked up on the journey music that was ‘Ethnic Minority’ and decided to release the track on showcase album The Sonar Project – which also features tracks from Subject 13, Seba, Paradox, Fanu, etc.
Lethal and Khanage showed another side to their production and made the all out techno assault that is ‘Jawbreaker’, the track was instantly picked up by Raiden for his massive new label project ‘Offkey Recordings’. It encapsulated the sound Raiden was looking to release, he immediately asked lethal and khanage to join the crew and deliver more techno flavoured offerings, the result was 'murkage' a huge techno monster that again took the offkey techno sound further, Then there was the Opportunity to remix the pair's favourtie Prode tune 'proportion'...they jumped at the chance and the rmx has been supported the world over by the crew
The pair are as happy DJ’ing as producing with residencies for System Abuse and sets at the legendary Renegade Hardware parties alongside radio shows across the airwaves.

Every week I'll be sharing some info about the artists on this Therapy's line-up:
This week: PROPAGANDA

Following a number of signings to labels; DSCI4/ FREAK/ OBSCENE/ OFF KEY/ POSITION CHROME/ REVOLUTION/ ELP COLLECTIVE and SINUOUS, Nu skool duo Propaganda are set to unleash their innovative, shocking and hard-hitting take on drum ‘n’ bass.
Propaganda formed in 2001 by the merging of two Southampton based DJ/producers Andy Buckley and Matt React. Both had been DJ-ing for seven years and have since played throughout the UK as well as around Europe. Their sets have a definite progression: passionately organised and innovative. Profoundly influenced by the roots of Detroit Techno as much as Drum ‘n’ Bass they bring a unique and uncompromising sound, and with a residency at London’s Therapy sessions they are sure to remain propulsive.
Since venturing into production the duo have built up an arsenal with which to assault the scene. Their musical eclecticism merges powerful bass lines with the distinct energy of techno. This niche sound has found a home with Raiden’s Off Key record label - Raiden explains his link with Buckley and React: "Out of anyone in the scene, Propaganda are making the closest thing to what I want to hear." With a formidable hybridisation of techno and drum ‘n’ bass, the trio have formed an inspirational partnership. The result of the first collaboration 'Poltergeist' was quickly taken on by DJ Trace's DSCI4 label, and was soon followed by two of their own tracks 'Let It Go' and 'Breakdance'.
Propaganda are continually working with Raiden on future projects for his Off Key imprint, as well as bringing some of their own distinctive sounds to the label. Look out for future releases on DSCI4/ FREAK/ OBSCENE/ OFF KEY/ POSITION CHROME/ REVOLUTION/ ELP COLLECTIVE.

Every week I'll be sharing some info about the artists on this Therapy's line-up:
This week: EVOL INTENT

Over the last few years, Evol Intent has emerged as one of the leading forces in the United States Drum and Bass movement. Both as a label and as a production trio, Evol Intent are considered some of the biggest up and coming talents in the entire dnb industry. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia the crew consists of Knick, Gigantor and The Enemy.
Apart from being a production outfit, Evol Intent also owns and operates their own label, which functions as an outlet for their own work as well as like-minded artists. Knick and Gigantor started Evol Intent Recordings in 2000. The Enemy joined the two quickly after they met through the Internet soon after the label was formed. After finishing school, the Enemy moved to Atlanta to devote more time and attention to Evol Intent, both as a crew and as a label.
The first three releases on Evol Intent were driven by a passion to release their own music and were, for the most part, distributed by themselves in true DIY fashion. Furthermore, their punk rock roots continue to shine through to this day with projects such as home-based screen-printing and grass roots sticker campaigns. After building an underground following with their first 3 releases, Evol Intent began to get some attention from distributors, both in the USA and overseas. They wound up signing a deal with ALPHA MAGIC to handle their distribution for Evol Intent Recordings.
Soon after, Evol Intent caught the eye of the award winning and historic dnb label, Renegade Hardware. Hardware had just launched a new label and they were interested in new material from Evol Intent for the label (Barcode records). After their first release with Barcode, Hardware was quick to snatch up Evol Intent and offer them an exclusive deal as permanent artists on the roster.
Around the same time, legendary US dj Dieselboy approached the Evol Intent trio to do a remix for his upcoming cd, "The Dungeon Masters Guide." Upon completion of the remix, Dieselboy asked Evol Intent to do yet another remix for the cd, but this time he asked them to remix a song from a legendary producer known as BT. Beyond all of the hard work they have put in to their music in the last year, Evol Intent are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
They have had releases on labels such as Renegade Hardware, Human imprint, Outbreak records and of course, Evol Intent Recordings and they have many plans for both their own label and others as well. They had an Evol Intent EP, on Renegade Hardware, as well as countless releases on their own Evol Intent Recordings imprint.
When all is said and done, it is safe to say that you haven't heard the last of Evol Intent.
